To remotely measure the internal pressure and temperature of the tire of a vehicle by providing a transmitting circuit mounted on the tire rim and an antenna coil mounted on the frame member with a space from the transmitting circuit.
A vehicle 10 includes a frame member 14 and a vehicle wheel mounted so as to be rotated around a rotating shaft to the frame member 14. A transmitting circuit is mounted on either one of the frame member 14 and the wheel 46 of the vehicle 10. A non-planar type antenna coil is mounted on the other of the frame member 14 and the vehicle wheel 46. The non-planar antenna coil includes a surface having a circular profile defining the surface approximating to the circular route of the transmitting circuit when the transmitting circuit is rotated around the shaft. The non-planer antenna coil keeps the radial air gap between the transmitting circuit and the antenna coil substantially constant when the transmitting circuit is rotated through the antenna coil.
