Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for lifting and lowering chairs which enables to lift, lower, and revolve a seat smoothly with a small and easy system.
SOLUTION: When this device for lifting and lowering chairs is designed to lift and lower the seat 3 by driving a motor 18, the device is provided with the following parts: A foot-switch system 5 is placed at a leg 2. The motor 18 turns around forward and backward as it is controlled by the foot-switch system 5 with a driving shaft 18S turned upward at the center of the leg 2. A system 1 for lifting and lowering the seat is equipped with a screw rod 12, which is rotated by the driving shaft 18S of the motor 18. A system 14 for controlling rotation is built between a cylinder 11 for the system 1 for lifting and lowering the seat and an outer cylinder 10. A system 15 for controlling process of lifting and lowering the seat is also provided.
