Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation of a slat and breakage of a lifting cord from being suffered by providing in a head box a stopper which prevents rotation of a driving shaft when a slat on the uppermost stage is pulled up.
CONSTITUTION: Under conditions that an operation cord 6 is actuated in a lifting direction of slat to rotate a driving shaft 10 thereby turning a slat 2 to a vertical direction, a lifting cord 4 is rolled round a pulley 11 to pull up a bottom rail 5 thereby pulling up the slats 2 successively upwardly. Next, if the slat 2 on the uppermost stage is pulled up to the vicinity of the underside of a head box 1, a stopper 14 is pushed up against the urging force of a torsion coil spring 19 so that the stopper 14 is brought into engagement with a gear 12 to prevent the rotation of the gear 12 thereby preventing the rotation of the shaft 10. As a result, the rotation of the driving shaft 10 is automatically prevented, whereby the deformation of the slats 2 and the breakage of the lifting cord 4 can be avoided.
