A pallet receiver 2 is provided with a first leg part 3 and a second leg part 4 orthogonally crossing the first leg part 3 to house stacked pallets 18 consisting of pallet 11 and so on. This loading/unloading device is provided with the pallet receiver 2 for loading one narrow width surface of the pallet 11 on the first leg part 3 to support the pallet and for horizontally loading the lowest pallet 16 of the stacked pallets 18 on the second leg part 4, and provided with a turning device for turning the pallet receiver between a first terminal position, to which the first leg part 3 is extended with an inclination against the horizontal direction, and a second terminal position, to which the first leg part 3 is extended in the nearly vertical direction.
