Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mechanically loosen the hollow-fiber bundle with the end coated with a sealant.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow-fiber bundle F with the lower end F1 coated with a selant C is inserted between a couple of pressers 6. The pressers 6 have pressing faces 6a consisting of the convex surfaces opposed to each other and is reciprocated in the X direction by a pressing and moving device 7 to loosen the bundle F. The pressers 6 are then turned to an angle of 90° by a rotating device 8 along with the device 7, and then the pressers 6 are reciprocated to loosen the bundle F.
