Abstract:
To solve such a problem that many machining stages are required for dividing a large-sized liquid crystal display panel into panel pieces each having a desired size.
The machining stages in this device for dividing a liquid crystal display panel into panel pieces each having a desired size, comprises: scribing one surface of the liquid crystal display panel with a scriber S1 having a glass cutter wheel excellent in scribing performance; and then, reversing the liquid crystal display panel and scribing the other surface of the panel with the same scriber S1 or another scriber S2 having the same performance as that of the scriber S1, to obtain the panel pieces without performing any breaking stage.
