To inexpensively perform powerful magnetization such that deficient magnetization does not occur even in case of a multipolar ring permanent magnet having an extremely small diameter and a narrow magnetization pitch and magnetization quality can be enhanced.
A heating section 10 and a magnetizing section 12 are arranged as an integral structure at an identical position in the axial direction such that the holding member 22 of an article 20 to be magnetized can move relatively to the heating section and the magnetizing section and the article heated at the heating section is magnetized at the magnetizing section. On the inside of the heating section having a tubular structure, the magnetizing section of tubular structure having inner circumferential surface becoming a magnetization surface is arranged coaxially, and the rod-like holding member of the article to be magnetized is preferably arranged to relatively move to the magnetizing section in the axial direction while penetrating the magnetizing section. The magnetizing section is preferably attached with a spot cooling section 16 which can control cooling gas supply.
