PURPOSE: To surely execute the sealing to an introducing part without damaging reinforced fiber bundle.
CONSTITUTION: At the introducing part 4 for carbon fiber bundle B in a cylindrical vessel 1 for storing molten aluminum A, an inlet nozzle 11 forming a first introducing hole 12 for carbon fiber bundle B communicated with the cylindrical vessel 1 is arranged. At the outside of the first introducing hole 12 in this inlet nozzle 11, a sealing chamber 13 filled with the graphite power C is formed. At the outside of this sealing chamber 13, a pressurizing member 16 forming a second introducing hole 15 for carbon fiber bundle B facing to the first introducing hole 12 is arranged. A pressurizing cylinder device 18 for pressurizing the graphite power C in the sealing chamber 13 by energizing this pressurizing member 16 is arranged. By this method, the sealing can effectively be executed by passing the graphite powder through the carbon fiber bundle while pressurizing the graphite powder having small friction coefficient with the carbon fiber bundle without causing sticking reaction to the molten aluminum.
