Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-scale device for manufacturing expanded beads- mixed lightweight soil, having great manufacturing ability.
SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing the expanded beads-mixed lightweight soil is provided with a device for continuously supplying each of a prescribed amount of soil (containing sand and cohesive soil), water, the expanded beads (made of expanded polystyrene, expanded polypropylene and expanded polyvinylidene chloride), and a cement-based solidification material and a horizontal kneading device for agitating and mixing the materials supplied to the side of one end in order to discharge them continuously from the side of the other end. A screw 26 is mounted over a hopper part 24 for the reception of the materials and a rotating drum 25 for the agitation and mixture subsequent to the reception.
