To average hardening balance of a hardening resin by making the distribution of integrated radiation doses symmetric when a substrate is stuck to another substrate while interposing the hardening resin and the resin is hardened by irradiating with radiation for reinforcing the substrate in the case of thinning the substrate in order to make an optical disk have high density and enlarge an allowable value of a tilt.
This device for manufacturing an optical recording medium is provided with lamps 6a, 6b for irradiating two disks 12 stuck to each other while interposing a radiation-hardening resin layer 5 with radiation and a rotary arm 9 for supporting the two stuck disks 12 and rotating/moving the disks 12 to cross a plane to be irradiated with the lamps 6a, 6b. The center 7 as a light source of each of the lamps 6a, 6b is positioned on the outside of a rotary locus P of the center of the disks 12 supported and rotated by the arm 9 in a radial direction.
