To compute the charging weight of molten glass for a glass solidified body container by actually measuring the reaction force received from a coupling device.
This charging glass weight measuring device for body is constituted so that a discharging nozzle 8 at the lower end of a glass melting furnace 1 and an injecting port 5 at the upper end of a solidified glass body container 6 are connected by a coupling device 11, which is extending up and down directions as a tube shape and can be freely extended and contracted, and melted glass 9 is made to flow down to the injecting port 5 from the discharging nozzle and filled in the container 6. In this case, the following devices are provided. A first gravimeter 14 is constituted so as to measure the upper mounted load and mounts the container 6. A second gravimeter 20 is constituted so as to measure own weight and the upper mounted load and provided between a flange 12 around the injecting part 5 and the lower end of the coupling device 11. In the gravimeter 20, an opening 19 for the flowing down of the melted glass 9 is formed at the central part. An operating device 22 substracts a measured value 21 of the second gravimeter 20 and a known container weight 17 from a measured value 16 of the first gravimeter 14.
