PURPOSE: To qualitatively evaluate a review checking list by measuring the number of review viewpoints relating to the improvement of quality included in review check items as the detree of abstraction.
CONSTITUTION: An input part 11 inputs the detailed results (concrete check items) of review check items by plural reviewers. An internal characteristic converting part 12 refers to a knowledge data base 15 storing existing bug sorts or documents and converts the detailed result of each review into the internal characteristic of software. A measuring part 13 prepares a histogram by totalizing the number of persons in each internal characteristic, finds out the mean value μ. and standard deviation σ of normal distribution regarding the histogram as one side and sets up a value obtained by the half adjust of μ+nσ (n is a constant) as the degree of abstraction of the review check item concerned. An output part 14 outputs the obtained abstraction degree.
