PURPOSE: To guarantee correct measuring for a long period by embedding a connecting angle thin plate connected conductively to a final terminal of a heating wire material in a sensor ring, in a device provided with the heating wire material and which is arranged in an intake passage and the like of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for measuring an air rate sucked by an intake pipe of an internal combustion engine, a sensor ring 1 is provided, and a heating wire material 7 is tensed to the sensor ring 1 by supporting points 2 to 5. The supporting points 2, 3, at a fixed end 15, are connected to metallic welding angle thin plates 16 by means of welding or brazing before embedding into the sensor ring 1. A connecting part 18 for electric connection is arranged on each thin plate 16, and is projected from the sensor ring 1 outward. An intermediate part of the heating wire material 7 is guided in a loop shape in the supporting points 4, 5, and a wire material part crossed apart from the supporting points 4, 5 of a loop 8 is conductively connected by means of welding or brazing in its contact region 9.
