Title:
DEVICE FOR MELTING AND POURING MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05208255
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce loss of heat energy and loss of time in an operation compared with the conventional method and to prevent the wasteful consumption of a non-ferrous alloy and the deterioration caused by contact of the molten non-ferrous alloy with the air.

CONSTITUTION: This device is a melting and pouring device for melting the non-ferrous alloy block and pouring the molten metal into a mold and has an inner space 10 having air-tightness making inert gas atmosphere and the inner space 10 provides a charging hole 11, pouring hole 12 and melting chamber 13 surrounded with an induction heating coil 14. Then a transfer means (a first piston 30) for feeding the non-ferrous alloy block charged into the inner space 10 to the melting chamber 13 from the charging hole 11 and a send-out means (the first piston 30) for pushing out the molten non-ferrous alloy formed in the melting chamber 13 from the pouring hole 12 are provided.
