Abstract:
To provide a device and method for adjusting the level of a spindle for adjusting the level of the spindle by simple operation in a short time with high accuracy.
This level adjusting device is provided with respective spindle coupllings of upper and lower spindles on both sides of the upper inside surface and both sides of the lower inside surface of a rest frame and a rest arm for receiving both lower side faces of a universal joint. In the level adjusting device, a spindle carrier is invalidated during adjusting the level of the upper and lower spindles.
