PURPOSE: To eliminate the danger of oxygen deficiency due to carbon dioxide by installing a gas bathing container having a gas-filled portion which is filled with gas, and a means for supplying carbon dioxide to the gas-filled portion.

CONSTITUTION: While a person is in a gas bathing box 1 with his head out of a head hole 5 and an entrance door 4 closed, a solenoid valve 13 is opened for a predetermined time by a timer 12 set to an appropriate time. Meanwhile, carbon dioxide is allowed to migrate toward nozzles 9a, 9b from a carbon dioxide bomb 3 via the open solenoid valve 13 and via a pressure reducing valve 11 which lowers carbon dioxide pressure to a proper value and a flow meter 10. Then the carbon dioxide is released into the gas bathing box 1 from the nozzles 9a, 9b. The carbon dioxide is thus introduced into the gas bathing box 1 and atmosphere pushed out and excessive carbon dioxide are diffused to the open outside from a gas overflow opening 6. The nozzle 9b is arranged just below the sitting portion of a chair 8 and so blood circulation is bettered especially near the anus portion.
