Abstract:
To obtain a device and method for carrier conversion which generate many dummy carriers by one carrier generator.
This carrier converting device generates one of many forward dummy carrier signals selectively by using a dummy carrier generator 202 through time division according to a forward signal. A forward signal processor 204 receives the forward signal, generates a signal for dummy carrier generation according to the forward signal, and outputs the forward dummy carrier signal generated by the dummy carrier generator 202 and forward signal. A power amplifier amplifies the electric power of the forward signal and dummy carrier signal from the forward signal processor 204.
