PURPOSE: To enable automobiles to be controlled without a sense of incongruity even when learning data is applied to different types of automobiles by enabling the learning data for use in changing the control gains of an automobile control- device to be applied to a variety of automobiles.
CONSTITUTION: A control gain changing device 20 for changing the control gains of the various control units 10-13 of an automobile renews automobile speed and steering speed while learning them, and sets learning data about correction factors for changing the control gains of the various control units 10-13, thus changing the control gains. The learning data, data on the kinds of automobiles, a learning-data correction and the like are stored in an IC card 23. When learning data derived from a different kind of automobile is employed, a learning-data correction corresponding to the changeover of the kind of automobile is calculated by a card data corrector 40 to correct the correction factors.
