Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the width of sheet variable by changing the opening degree of roll by turning an arm by taking a shaft as a supporting point.

CONSTITUTION: A swing arm type roll 100 is constituted of a turnable arms by making the shaft 1 as supporting point and idle roll 3 which is provided at the tip of the arm. When changing the width of rolled stock 4, the turning angle of the arm 2 is made at a prescribed value that is preliminarily set. The turning driving mechanism of the swims arm is actuated by position control of hydraulic cylinder.
