Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for channel estimation that can estimate a channel even when rapid and high distortion takes place due to fading.
SOLUTION: The channel estimation device is provided with a fading estimator 600 that estimates a channel, a 1st interpolator 610 that interpolates the output of the estimator 600, a 1st inverter 620 that inverts the output signal of the interpolator 610, a 1st delay section 630 that delays the input signal, a 1st multiplier 640 that applies primary compensation to the output signals of the 1st inverter 620 and the 1st delay section 630, a 2nd interpolator 650 that conducts interpolation of respective symbols, a level controller 660 that converts the output signal level of the 2nd interpolator, a 2nd inverter 670 that inverts the output signal of the level controller, a 2nd delay section 680 that delays the signal subjected to primary compensation by a prescribed delay, and a 2nd multiplier 690 that applies secondary compensation to the output signal of the 2nd delay section with the output signal from the 2nd inverter.
