Abstract:
PURPOSE: To speedily and efficiently execute comparing operation necessary for compressing and restoring data.
CONSTITUTION: This system includes a data element receiving circuit 320, a storage circuit 330 for successively storing a data element received before at a successively addressed fixed position, a circuit comparing the stored data element and the received data element with each other in order to decide whether the received data element is matched with at least one stored data elements, and a circuit 370 generating the address of the matched and stored data element.
