Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for conductively connecting at least two electric conductors by inductive heating.
SOLUTION: An induction coil generates a magnetic field when a current is fed to it. A magnetic field concentrating unit is arranged on and near the induction coil, two conductors are arranged adjacently to it, and the magnetic field can be concentrated on the conductors. The magnetic field concentrating unit is provided independently of the conductors and applies a pressure to the conductors. The magnetic field concentrating unit concentrates the magnetic field generated by the induction coil on the conductors, heats the conductors in a pressed state, and electrically connects the conductors together.
