Title:
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WETTING WATER QUANTITY FOR OFFSET PRINTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3215647
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the quantity of wetting water capable of promptly deciding a target value.
SOLUTION: An operator sets a switching means 13 in the manual control mode. In this manual control mode, a water supply means 9 supplies water to a printing plate based on the quantity of water entered by the operator. When the operator is satisfied with a printing state upon his checking, he sets the switching means 13 to the automatic control mode. A special micromeasuring means 7 measures a special microquantity representing the balance between ink and water quantities on the plate face of an offset printing plate. Through switching the mode, the currently determined water quantity is stored as a target value in a target value storage means 3. An automatic water quantity controlling means 5 connects a water supply signal to the water supply means 9 so that the special microquantity to be measured by the special micromeasuring means 7 coincides with the target value.
