To provide a device and a method of coordinate measurement which can generate actual coordinates for one or more target objects at the same time even though a small number of light emitting sensors are used.

By using a large number of light receiving parts 130 and a small number of light emitting parts 120, path equations of the light receiving parts 130 for respective light emitting parts 120 are determined firstly, and by using the path equations determined, actual coordinates for one or more targets are determined. Since a small number of light emitting sensors are used, an installation cost and a maintenance cost can be reduced, and an effect of extending a product life is obtained.
