Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain facsimile equipment which can change the size and resolution of an image by changing the timing for the release of image data and the sweep of electronic beams and also repeatedly controlling lines of the image data.
CONSTITUTION: When image dimensional information is given, a graphics microprocessor 10 stores image data in memory buffers 30 and 31 of a storing means 22. In a horizontal direction, it controls the ratio of releasing the image data to a CRT 50 through a timing that is supplied from a timing means 70, which includes an oscillator 72 and frequency dividers 75 and 76 and adjusts a beam intensity. It also controls a horizontal sweep ratio of the electronic beams of the CRT 50. In a vertical direction, it repeatedly controls lines of the image data. With this configuration, it can generates images with various sizes horizontally and vertically and various resolutions, and facsimile equipment that is capable of changing the size and resolution of an image is obtained.
