This invention relates to a detector device 1 for detecting blockage of material inputting pipe of a three-phase AC electrode type circular electric furnace 100 provided with an electrode 101 and a plurality of material inputting pipes 110 and specifying the material inputting pipes 110 showing blockage. This detector device comprises a displacement measuring part 10 for measuring displacement of a distance up to the electrode 101, and determination device 20 for detecting blockage of material inputting pipe and specifying the material inputting pipes 110 showing blockage. The determination device 20 calculates a displacement amount and a displacement direction of the electrode 101 on the basis of a result measured by a displacement sensor 10. In the case that the displacement amount is equal to or more than a threshold, it detects the occurrence of blockage at the material inputting pipes and specifies the occurrence of the blockage at the material inputting pipes 110 in a displacement direction of the electrode 101 displaced by the threshold or more.
