Abstract:

To provide a device and a method of detecting fall of water from an operating pump more accurately, and to provide a draining system including such the device of detecting fall of water.SOLUTION: A draining system includes: a pump with an impeller; a drive source for rotatably driving the impeller of the pump; a thermometer for measuring a temperature of an exhaust gas discharged from the drive source; and a detector for fall of water that detects fall of water on the basis of a rate of increase in temperature of the exhaust gas per unit time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
