To provide a means capable of highly accurately detecting the position of a moving machine and the working position of the whole moving machine including a revolving angle in the horizontal direction and the elevating angle of a revolving boom, as regards the moving machine provided with a revolving arm, which travels in a raw material yard such as a stacker and a reclaimer.
A device for detecting the working position of the moving machine includes: a plurality of moving stations 3, 4 arranged at positions different from each other so as to run along the axial line of the revolving boom on the revolving boom 2 of the moving machine 1, as positional coordinate measuring means which receives a satellite radio wave transmitted from a satellite and measures positional coordinates at a plurality of points along the axial line of the revolving boom in the revolving boom of the moving machine; and a fixed station 5 installed at the reference point of the raw material yard; and a position detection means 6 which detects the working position of the moving machine 1 by specifying the position of the moving machine 1 and the revolving angle and the elevating angle of the revolving boom on the basis of positional coordinate information obtained from the respective moving stations 3, 4 and positional coordinate correction information obtained from the fixed station 5.
