A liquid droplet discharging device which discharges liquid droplets from discharge nozzles by selectively supplying a drive signal to an actuator via a switching circuit is equipped with a selector and a control driving means. The selector set between the switching circuit and the actuator alternatively selects the drive signal or a minute vibration drive signal for applying oscillation to the liquid for discharge within the discharge nozzles. The control driving means controls the selector to suitably supply the minute vibration drive signal to the actuator in accordance with a preliminarily set plurality of viscosity reduction modes corresponding to the operation conditions of the liquid droplet discharging device.
