Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for collecting and eliminating particulates in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine such as a diesel engine for a ship, for traveling on the ground, and for fixing on the ground.
SOLUTION: The device for eliminating the particulates in exhaust gas 10 in a diesel engine is composed of a disk filter 11 as means for collecting particulates, and spray 13 having a plurality of nozzles (a spray type, a shower type, and the like) 13a as catalyst sticking means for sticking alkali metallic catalyst solution 12 on a surface of the particulates collected by the disk filter 11, the catalyst is stuck on the collected particulates, and then unburned particulates are combustion-decomposed.
