Abstract:
To effectively utilize a memory in a failure diagnosis device of an electric power steering device, and to easily change the design thereof.
A failure diagnosis unit 140 monitors the torque signal, the power supply voltage, or the like, starts the clocking when an abnormality is detected, and determines whether or not the predetermined failure detection time and failure determination time are elapsed. If the failure detection time and failure determination time are elapsed, each time stamp is recorded in a storage unit 160. The failure diagnosis unit 140 diagnoses a failure of an EPS based on these time stamps.
