Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put the top/reverse directions of planes constituting a body in order fast with practical precision.
SOLUTION: Plane data on the planes constituting the body are inputted from a data input part 10 and a rectangular parallelepiped generation part generates normal vectors of the planes constituting the body according to the plane data. A view plane area arithmetic part 13 generates a rectangular parallelepiped of the minimum volume including the planes constituting the body or a rectangular parallelepiped similar to the rectangular parallelepiped. A maximum-area view plane selection part 14 selects the plane having the largest area out of the planes constituting the generated rectangular parallelepiped and a view plane reference vector generation part 15 generates the reference vector of the selected plane. A plane normal vector arrangement part 16 puts the directions of normal vectors generated by the generation part 12 in order according to the angles of intersection of the normal vectors and the reference vector.
