Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce a period for not performing a decoding processing and to shorten a decoding period in an image magnification processor using a fractal parameter.
SOLUTION: For the fractal parameter extracted by a fractal parameter extraction circuit 10, by performing the discretization of the number of times of using a domain cell using a histogram in a fractal parameter reconstitution circuit 20, the fractal parameter is corrected. In a fractal image magnification circuit 30, by using the corrected fractal parameter, the domain cell temporarily read from an internal image memory is continuously used for the multiple-of- integer-α number of times and the decoding processing is performed. Thus, a data transfer amount between a fractal image magnification execution part (decoder) and an image memory is substantially reduced and a fractal magnification processor is accelerated.
