To provide a photometric/ranging device preventing the generation of uneven exposure and capable of performing an accurate ranging by allowing a photometric sensor comprising a two-dimensional sensor to detect whether it is in a subject illumination environment condition generating flicker or not, and changing exposure conditions such as a frame rate of a ranging sensor comprising a two-dimensional sensor, shutter speed and the like based on the detection result.
A photometric/ranging device according to the present invention includes: ranging sensor CCDs 1012 and 1011 comprising two-dimensional sensors; a photometric sensor CCD 1013 comprising a two-dimensional sensor, ranging lenses 11a and 11b provided corresponding to the ranging sensor CCDs 1012 and 1011 and forming a subject image on the ranging sensors; a photometric lens 11c forming a subject image on the photometric sensor CCD 1013, and a processor 105 measuring the illumination environment of the subject using the photometric sensor, setting the respective exposure states of the ranging sensors and the photometric sensors, and performing the ranging by the ranging sensors. The processor 105 changes the exposure states of the ranging sensors according to the photometric result.
