To provide a device and a method which accurately perform inspection in a short period in order to prevent connection failure to a fuse box caused by bending and warp of a blade and a rest terminal at a fuse-manufacturing process of a vehicular fuse and in transport.
In the device and method for inspecting a fuse, the fuse inspection device 4 includes an inclined section 5 for sliding a fuse, and a groove for passing the fuse 1 is located on the inclined section 5. The groove of the inclined section 5 includes an insulating section support groove 7 for supporting an insulating section 3 of the fuse 1, and a blade section passing groove 8 for passing a blade section 2 of the fuse 1. The blade section 2 of the fuse 1 is inserted into the inclined section 5 having the insulating section support groove 7 and the blade section passing groove 8 for passing the blade section 2 of the fuse 1, and deformation of the blade section 2 of the fuse 1 is inspected on the basis of distances wherein the fuse 1 is slid on the inclined section 5.
