Abstract:
To quickly install a seismometer, to speedily collect data on earthquake, and to increase the safety of work on emergency.
A device is equipped with a device body 2 that has a floating part 2a and an underwater part 2b that are connected by a first cable 14 and are separated by impact on the surface of seawater due to throwing from an aircraft. The underwater part 2b of the device body 2 has a seismometer part 8 and an anchor part 9 being separated at a position with a specific altitude from the bottom of the sea. The seismometer part 8 is connected to the anchor part 9 by a second cable 15.
