To satisfactorily cut a photographic product by arranging means for controlling the rewinding of a sheet and winding of strips, respectively, and arranging at the upstream side of a cutting means for previously making lateral cut lines on the sheet.

A device for longitudinally cutting a photographic product into strips includes rewinding means for supplying a photographic product sheet 2. A device 4 for longitudinally cutting the sheet to make a plurality of photograph strips 5, 6 is arranged, to which guide means 30 is provided. Further, means 9, 10 for winding the strips on corresponding reels and means 13-16 for controlling the rewinding of the sheet and winding of the strips, respectively, are arranged. Each control means consists of a controller 13, a measurement coder 14 and tension measuring equipments 15, 16. A means 3 is arranged at the upstream side of the cutting means 4 for previously making lateral cut lines on the sheet.
