To provide a device and a method for manufacturing connecting rod parts capable of easily preventing deformation and breakage to be caused when breaking to split a connecting rod work into a connecting rod body and a connecting rod cap.
This device for manufacturing connecting rod parts includes: an inside fixture (20) to be inserted into a large end hole (11A) of a large end (11) of a connecting rod work (10); an outside fixture (30) having a projection (30a) to be fitted in a recess (11a) provided in a side surface of the large end (11) and made to abut on both side surfaces of the large end (11); and a driving means for giving expanding force for breaking to split the connecting rod work (10) into a connecting rod body (101) and a connecting rod cap (102) as connecting rod parts by enlarging the large end (11).
