To provide a device and a method for manufacturing a green sheet capable of preventing a carrier film from warping and capable of uniforming the thickness of a liquid slurry when regulating the thickness of the liquid slurry with a doctor blade.
The device 101 for manufacturing the green sheet includes a liquid reservoir 2 for accumulating the liquid slurry 4a, a belt-like carrier film 6 which travels in one direction and wherein the liquid slurry is continuously coated on the own upper surface from the liquid reservoir, the doctor blade 7 which is disposed with a definite gap G from the upper surface of the carrier film, and regulates the thickness of the liquid slurry continuously coated on the carrier film depending on the gap G, a drying furnace 8 for drying the liquid slurry having the thickness regulated with the doctor blade, and warpage pressing members 10 which are disposed at the position of both ends 6e of the carrier film having no liquid slurry coated thereon and overlapped with at least a doctor blade in the traveling direction L, and prevents the both ends from warping upward by contacting to the upper surface of the both ends.
