To provide a device for manufacturing an inside grooved tube which is hardly broken during the working, and a method for manufacturing the inside grooved tube using the device.
A holding plug 2, a plug shaft 4, and grooved plugs 5a and 5b with grooves formed in each outer surface thereof are disposed inside a stock tube 1. In the grooved plugs 5a and 5b, a first tapered part 22, a columnar part 21 and a second tapered part 23 are provided along the drawing direction of the stock tube 1, and the grooves are formed continuous to the columnar part 21 and the second tapered part 23. The rotational axes of work rolls 16a and 16b are disposed between the position on the upstream side by 3 mm and at the position on the downstream side by 2 mm in the tube drawing direction from a boundary surface 24b at the grooved plugs 5a and 5b. In addition, a sizing die 8a is disposed between the work roll 16a and the work roll 16b, and a sizing die 8b is disposed on the downstream side in the tube drawing direction of the work roll 16b.
