To provide a device for manufacturing a pipe with a grooved inner face which can prevent rupture of a material pipe during manufacturing and which can manufacture the pipe with the grooved inner face having high heat transfer performance at high productivity, and also, to provide a method for manufacturing the pipe with the grooved inner face using the manufacturing device.
A floating plug 2, a connection shaft 4, and a grooved plug 5 are arranged inside a metal pipe 1. A column part 11, in which a groove 13 is formed on the outer face, and a tapered part 12, which is joined to the end face on the downstream side in the drawing direction of the column part 11, are provided to the grooved plug 5. Also, a pair of hand-drum shaped rolling rolls 6 are arranged to the outside of the pipe stock 1. And, a pair of the rolling rolls 6 are arranged at a position where a plane 18 including a rotation axis of the rolling rolls 6 is on the upstream side compared with a boundary face 17 of the column part 11 and the tapered part 12 of the grooved plug 5, and the distance X from the boundary face 17 becomes 3 to 5 mm.
