Abstract:

To provide a device and method of manufacturing a solar battery cell capable of achieving printing with a high position accuracy.

A device of manufacturing a solar battery cell printing an upper layer pattern on a printed surface of a semiconductor substrate 2, comprises: a mounting part mounting the semiconductor substrate in a state that the printed surface is upward; a mask 21a having an opening that has a shape corresponding to the upper layer pattern, penetrates in a thickness direction, and is filled with a paste material 41; and pressure control means, when the mask 21a is arranged at a correct relative position to the semiconductor substrate 2 while being separated from the semiconductor substrate 2 by a predetermined interval on the semiconductor substrate 2 mounted on the mounting part, controlling a first space 51 between the mask 21a and the semiconductor substrate 2 to a lower pressure compared with a second space 52 on an opposite side to the semiconductor substrate 2 of the mask 21a to press out the paste material 41 in the opening onto the printed surface on the semiconductor substrate 2 by a pressure difference between the first space 51 and the second space 52, and to perform transcription.
