The device converts printing draft page data 103 to three color raster data by a CMYK-CMY conversion means 123, composes them with position coding dot pattern 101 of black (K) by a dot pattern-page data composing means 127, and obtains a proof-reading object with position information 431. The device sends the proof-reading object with position information 431 to a client side proof-reading terminal 471 through a network, and prints them by a printer 490. If proof-reading instructions are written with a pen with optical reading mechanism 481 on papers of the printed proof-reading objects with position information 431, coordinate data of the proof-reading instruction stroke are memorized, and sent to a proof-reading management server 405 of a printing company through the network 150. Page data with proof-reading 435 are composed of printing draft page data and proof-reading instruction data, created, displayed on the terminal, and can confirm the proof-reading content.
