PURPOSE: To obtain a device and a photographing method by which difficulty occurring when a reflecting body is photographed is solved by photographing the reflecting body through the groove of a mask.

CONSTITUTION: The mask having the groove 48 functions as an external camera shutter so as to restrict the camera visual field of the body. The reflecting body is selectively illuminated by the mask from the upper and/or the periphery of the body in the midst of the photographing time. Besides, one or more images of the reflecting body are photographically recorded on a film. On the other hand, the camera visual field of the body is restricted and the body is selectively illuminated.
