To provide a new device and method for plastic forming, because by the conventional plastic forming method, namely ECAP method, shearing force can be applied only once per each forming procedure due to press-fitting of forming material into a die and plastic forming is repeatedly required by changing the direction of the forming material to obtain a distortion-accumulated isotopic crystal, which requires complicated operation.
When plastic forming is carried out by forcibly flowing the forming material 35 in a flow path 34 of a cylindrical container, multiple bends 37, 38 are formed in the flow path to apply shearing force multiple times to the forming material at the bends. Differently from the conventional ECAP method, multiple bends give shearing force multiple times to the forming material by one action of press-fitting of the material and improve efficiency of distortion generation.
