Abstract:
PURPOSE: To specify a logic drive suitable for preparing a hibernation file.
CONSTITUTION: One logic drive, which can access an OS file system and is larger than a prescribed size, is selected and while using the OS file system, the file of a prescribed name is prepared for this logic file. Then, the preparation of this file is informed to a power management(PM) code (steps 605-608). Corresponding to whether the reading of the file of the prescribed name is confirmed from the PM code or not, it is judged whether the preparation of the hibernation file at this drive is suitable or not (step 609).
