When a portable device 5-1 is not provided with a display function, a user performs setting not to transfer additional information. On the basis of the operation of the user, a transfer processing part 63 checks out only a music file 69 stored in a music file storage part 68-1 to the portable device 5-1 and does not transfer additional information 71 for PC editing and additional information 72 for PD. Thus, checkout time is shortened.
