In a terminal equipment for performing the guidance of displayed objects, an operation input is detected through a touch panel provided together on a display screen. The terminal equipment displays the initial screen showing the layout of a relevant showroom on the display screen (S401). When the operation input designating a corner in the layout is detected through the touch panel, corresponding to this operation input, the screen is moved to a screen display for reproducing contents for explaining the designated corner or product category thereof (S403-S409). When no operation input is detected over a prescribed time length while the screen is displayed for explaining the corner or product category, the display of the display screen is returned to the initial screen (returned to the step S401).
