Abstract:

To accurately calculate an endurance distance even when an alcohol concentration is changed.

An electrostatic capacity of a liquid level detecting part of a liquid state detecting sensor is measured to calculate a remaining amount of fuel (100, 102), further, an ethanol concentration is calculated by measuring an electrostatic capacity of a reference part of the liquid state detecting sensor, when the increase of fuel by more than a threshold value, is found, and a mileage coefficient according to the calculated ethanol concentration is calculated (104-110). The calculated mileage coefficient is multiplied by average mileage to calculate average mileage after oil feed, and the endurance distance is calculated and displayed (118, 120).
