Abstract:

To provide an inspection device of a passenger conveyor handrail that determines deterioration, further including surroundings of a tensile body.

The inspection device of the passenger conveyor handrail inspects a handrail on the basis of a tracing image produced by tracing the handrail of a passenger conveyor. The device includes: an image data input part 21 for obtaining the tracing image produced with information showing luminance as respective pixels; a color processing part 25 for converting the respective pixels constituting the tracing image into color information to produce a colored image, on the basis of a color conversion table in which the luminance and color is associated with each other; and a deterioration determination part 28 for determining deterioration of the handrail on the basis of colors of the respective pixels constituting the colored image.
